TLKdle is a free, fan-made daily game. This page says what it stores about you, which third parties are involved, and how to reach us.

What stays on your device

Your progress, streaks and statistics are saved in your browser's local storage so the game remembers them. A random player key is stored there too. Clearing your browser data removes all of it.

If you create an account

Accounts are optional and only needed for the leaderboard. We store your username, your email address, a salted hash of your password (never the password itself), your scores, and a sign-in cookie that keeps you signed in for a limited time. The cookie is strictly necessary for signing in. Usernames and scores are shown on the public leaderboard. Your email address is never shown.

Feedback

If you send feedback we store your message, the page you were on, your email address if you typed one, and your IP address, only to deal with the message and to fight spam.

Hosting

The site runs on Cloudflare, which processes requests (including your IP address) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse.

Ads

TLKdle may show ads from Google AdSense. This includes an optional rewarded ad that you choose to watch to unlock a bonus round. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads, and to personalise them where you agree to that. Where the law requires it, you will be asked for your choice before ads are personalised, and you can change it later through the privacy settings link Google provides.

Support links

The "Support us" button opens Ko-fi, a separate service with its own privacy policy. We do not receive your payment details.

Children

The game is for a general audience and is not aimed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you think a child has created an account, tell us and we will delete it.

Your choices

You can ask us to see, correct or delete the data tied to your account at any time. Use the feedback button on the main page and include your username. We do not sell personal data.
